Mamokiba Makuwa is a trailblazing business leader and CEO of TKY Engineering, with over two decades of experience in the mining industry. Holding a B Tech in Management and an ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Certificate from SABS, she has also pursued academic accomplishments in internal auditing, finance, human resources, tendering, and more—giving her a robust, well-rounded foundation in business and operational excellence.

In 2013, she identified a critical gap in the engineering sector and turned it into an opportunity—establishing a business rooted in armature winding that has since flourished into a diversified and impactful enterprise. Through strategic growth and relentless determination, Mamokiba has built a powerful presence in the mining and engineering fields, creating a significant platform for women in mining—an industry historically lacking female representation.
